I get their cheesecake almost every day at Randals farm in Ludlow ma. It is my favorite treat I’m addicted! Please send randals more regular caramel cheesecakes!! (Not caramel apple) it’s my absolute favorite! And plain and chocolate chip!! If you do I’ll buy a bunch of them 😁
I love having a gluten free bakery close to home, especially when they have exactly what I'm craving! The carrot cake is my favorite, along with pizza dough, chocolate covered pretzels, and spinach pies. I stop in whenever I am in the area.
Recently had the dreaded Celiac diagnosis in my family. We enjoyed visiting A & J Bakery. Especially at the beginning, reading ingredient labels is a little overwhelming. It was so nice to walk inside and know everything was safe to bring home. We tried dessert at the counter, cheesecake and a cannoli, and purchased a few staple panty items. We also tested out the ravioli (which was great), and will be testing out the GF pizza crust next. Overall very pleased to have this local alternative available.
If you need allegen free, look no further. They always have a wide assortment and usually have a great seasonal selection for parties when someone has concerns. (This was the first time ever I caught them between holudays, so I had to "settle" for Halliween cupcakes instead of the frosted Thanksgiving cookies I went in for. Still not disappointed. )
I love the sugar cookie because it doesn't taste too sweet. I usually can't eat pastries because they taste too sweet or have allergens in them.
Really surprised that the gluten free cake I got was very good! The store was clean smelled good! All in all great experience
When I found out this bakery was close to where I was staying I was incredibly excited! As a gluten and dairy free gal its so hard to find baked goods that are both. When I first read the reviews for A&J I wasn’t sure if it would be a flop or not. I called ahead to see what they had for options for a gf & and df girl and I was soo excited! The filling in the eclair was top notch and the pastry was the perfect texture! Places like these make me a feel a little less isolated for the food world. thank you.
I try to stop at A & J whenever I am near Cranston, RI. It's always a treat to not have to worry about cross-contamination and I can order anything 🙂 Given the size of the region it's really great to have a dedicated GF bakery available! Recommended!
A&J was recommended by a friend of my husband's for its quality GF baked goods. We have tried so many bakeries for decent substitute GF desserts- and our first order from A & J just arrived. I ordered several of my hub's favorites- Angel Food cake, almost impossible to find!. Anisette toast, cinnamon buns and the nearest GF Oatmeal cookie I could find, which is a cream filled oatmeal raisin pie/cookie. He was delighted with the cinnamon buns! He's so thrilled to have some great looking desserts to look forward to- I am pleased too! The shipment arrived within just a few days, completely intact. Each item looks great! Definitely an excellent operation!
